Bangkok Awaits! TransNusa Opens Ticket Sales for New Jakarta–Bangkok Route with Twice-Daily Flights

Jakarta, June 23, 2026 – TransNusa continues to expand its international network with the launch of a new Jakarta–Bangkok route, scheduled to commence operations on August 6, 2026. From day one, the airline will operate two daily flights, offering greater flexibility and more travel options for both leisure and business travelers between Indonesia and Thailand.

All TransNusa flights to Bangkok will arrive at Suvarnabhumi Airport (BKK), Thailand’s primary international gateway and a major aviation hub serving numerous global carriers. Equipped with world-class facilities, extensive connectivity, and modern passenger services, Suvarnabhumi Airport provides a seamless travel experience while enabling convenient onward connections to destinations across Thailand and beyond.

According to Datuk Bernard Francis, Group CEO of TransNusa, the launch of the Jakarta–Bangkok route represents a strategic move to meet the growing demand for international travel within Southeast Asia.

“Thailand remains one of the most popular destinations among Indonesian travelers, while Indonesia continues to attract increasing interest from Thai visitors. The first daily flight will depart Jakarta at 08:20 WIB and arrive in Bangkok at 11:45 local time. The return service will depart Bangkok at 12:30 local time and arrive in Jakarta at 15:55 WIB.

The second daily flight will depart Jakarta at 16:30 WIB and arrive in Bangkok at 19:55 local time. The return flight will leave Bangkok at 20:40 local time and land in Jakarta at 00:05 WIB the following day.

To make this new route more accessible to travelers, TransNusa is offering competitive introductory fares starting from IDR 2,999,000 one-way.

The launch of the Jakarta–Bangkok route is expected to further strengthen the growing tourism relationship between Indonesia and Thailand.
