Conditions for the Acceptance of Expecting Mothers

1. Pregnancy with non-Complication
Pregnancy 0-27 weeks
- Accepted with no limitation
- The related passenger or his/her designated family must sign the Form of Indemnity (FOI)
- Form of Indemnity (Surat Pernyataan) is a release liability statement letter that must be signed by a related passenger or his/her designated family.

2. Pregnancy 28-35 weeks
- Accepted with no limitation
- Must be accompanied by medical clearance from a doctor, valid only 7 (seven) days from the date of issuance.
- The related passenger or his/her designated family must sign the Form of Indemnity.
- Form of Indemnity (Surat Pernyataan) is a release liability statement letter that must be signed by a related passenger or his/her designated family.

3. Pregnancy with complication or problem
A. Must be accompanied by medical clearance from a doctor, valid only 7 (seven) days from the date of issuance.
B. Here, the Form of Indemnity (Surat Pernyataan) is a release liability statement letter from doctor specialist

NOTE:
1. Medical clearance from Obstetricians.
2. At the station, this information must be passed to the next crew directly or through APB.
3. Pregnancy above 35 weeks will be refused to be carried.

These new policies will be effective on Feb 09, 2024

Infant

  1. Infant’s age limit is maximum 24 months. 
  2. Infant below 14 days recommended No accepted to fly. 
  3. A premature infant must be recommended as MEDA (Medical Case). 
  4. 14 days to 3 months infant must attach a Doctor’s Certificate and Statement Letter. 
  5. 3 – 34 months infant are not required to attach Doctor Certificate. 
  6. Infants must simultaneously with a fully responsible adult passenger during the flight.
  7. Infants don't obtain seats and baggage allowance, but in one seat (on the laps) of the mother or adults.
  8. Infants are charged 10% of the ticket base fare of the adult passenger.
